I was born in Queensland and raised with a strong belief in who I was and a love for writing. I lived with a wild imagination most of my life and could recall my first attempt at writing a story. At the very tender age of seven I picked up my pencil and wrote my first story about monsters in storm drains. A nice place to start, fiddling with the age old urban myth. Since then I realized my true love for adventure and escapism and wrote every day and loved each second of it. With binders full of stories that could go anywhere from fifty to one-hundred pages or more, I kept on writing. Moving from genre to genre but never writing to the end of any story. I picked up my first romance at a young age of nine-yes, nine-and I never looked back. Sleepless nights were spent reading these books and as the morning sun would break over the night sky, I would get up and continue with my day. Of course it didn't do well, to fall asleep in class! *grins* I spent hours in libraries, devouring books of all genres but my true love remained with romance. With books filling my closet of well read second hands, I would read and laugh and cry with the heroine hoping one day I would find my knight in shining armour. I was lucky enough to meet and marry my first love. He is a wonderful and supporting sort, who inspires me to write and reach for my dreams. He can be quite spontaneous at times, showing that chivalry and romance isn't dead. *grins* That's why I love falling in love with him over and over again. It's so much fun! Despite my passion, I had put away my dreams of becoming an author until years later, I told my twin sister about a story that I had on my mind. On her insistance, I wrote my very first Manscript 'His Unexpected Bride'. That story was soon picked up by NCP.
